🎉About the Event

The Steadman Baptist Church ‘Love in Motion 5K’ is more than just a race—it’s a celebration of community, faith, and healthy living. Please join us for this 5K, which will draw together church members, local residents, and visitors for a day of fellowship, encouragement, and physical activity.

• Accessibility: Designed for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.
• Route: Winds through Steadman, GA, ending at the church grounds.
• Post-Race: Enjoy refreshments and festivities after the race.
• 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: Available for those who prefer a shorter distance.

📍Location

• Start/Finish: Steadman Baptist Church parking lot.
• Participants: Open to church members, their families, and the broader community.
• Registration: Available both online and in-person. Early registration discounts are available.
• Save Money: Register early to take advantage of early bird rates!

💰Registration Fees

PRE-REGISTRATION 'Early Bird Race Fee:

• $30 -- 5K Run/Walk
• $5 -- 1 Mile Run/Walk

REGULAR REGISTRATION/RACE DAY FEE: (PLEASE NOTE: T-shirt Cannot be Guaranteed).

• $40 -- 5K Run/Walk
• $10 -- 1 Mile Run/Walk

🕘Event Timeline

• 7:00 a.m. — Volunteer check-in and setup
• 8:00 a.m. — Registration opens
• 8:45 a.m. — Warm-up and group prayer
• 9:00 a.m. — 5K starts
• 10:00 a.m. — 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk starts
• 10:15 a.m. — Awards and fellowship

🧘‍♂️Warm-Up & Support

• Warm-Up Activities: Organized group-stretch and prayer led by church leaders.
• Course Monitors: Volunteers will be present for safety and encouragement.
• Water Stations: At least two stations—one at the 1 mile mark and one at the finish line.
• Medical Support: Designated first aid team will be on-site.

🍏Post-Race Activities

• Refreshments: Water, fruit, granola bars, and other healthy snacks.
• Awards Ceremony: Recognizes overall winners and age group finishers.
• Fellowship: Opportunities for mingling and connection after the race.
• Photography: Volunteers will capture moments along the route and during the awards ceremony.

• Top 3 Overall (Male & Female)
• Top Master (Male & Female)
• Top 3 in each of the following Age Categories (Male & Female): 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over.
• NOTE: There are no awards for the '1 Mile'...it’s just for FUN!

This event fosters unity, encourages physical health, and raises funds for Steadman Baptist Church Mission Trip 2026 (Liberia trip with Love 2540).
