45th Annual Tamarac Turkey Trot 5K Run

Thursday “Thanksgiving Morning” November 27, 2025 at 7:30 a.m.

LOCATION

• Venue: Tamarac City Hall, 7525 NW 88th Ave. (Pine Island Rd.) Tamarac, FL 33321
• Directions: I-95 to Cypress Creek Road or Turnpike to Commercial Blvd., west to Pine Island Road, then north 1/2 mile or Sawgrass Expressway to Commercial Blvd., east to Pine Island Road, then north for 1 1/2 miles.
• Parking: Parking is located behind City Hall until the lot is full and in the shopping plaza located on the corner of Pine Island Rd. and McNab. Rd.

TIME

• Start Time: 5K Run Begins at 7:30 a.m.

ENTRY FEES

• Medals & T-shirts: Participants will receive a commemorative medal and t-shirt (Shirts are available in youth medium, youth large and adult sizes).
• Early Bird Registration: $30 (until October 30th)
• Standard Registration: $35 (October 31st– November 17th)
• Late Registration: $40 (November 18th – November 26th or till SELL OUT)

PACKET PICK-UP

• Dates: November 24th, 25th & 26th from 4-8 p.m.
• Location: Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W. Commercial Blvd., Tamarac, FL 33351

RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP

• Start Time: Packet pick-up begins at 6:30 a.m. at Tamarac City Hall.

AGE DIVISIONS

• Categories: Male/Female - 9 & under, 10 - 12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.

Awards

• Overall Finishers: Trophies to first overall three finishers based on Gun Time.
• Age Group Winners: Trophies to first, second and third place age group winners based on Net Time.
• Awards Ceremony: Awards will be presented at Tamarac City Hall after the race.

T-SHIRTS & FINISHER MEDALS

• Guaranteed T-shirts: Commemorative T-shirts guaranteed to the first 2000 registered.
• Finishers: All finishers wearing a race bib will receive a medal.

WATER STATIONS

• Fluid Stations: Please take advantage of the fluid stations at approximately the first and second mile markers.

REFRESHMENTS

• Post-Race: There will be a variety of food and refreshments for all race participants following the race.

STROLLERS

• Start Line: Participants running or walking with strollers, please wait to go through the start line after all the runners go through.

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

• Medical Support: A medical team will be on call.
• Communication: Staff at each fluid station will be in contact with the medical team.

CHRONO-TRACK TIMING SYSTEM

• Timing: Race is on a Chrono-Track Timing System.
• Chip: Chip is disposable and recyclable.

COURSE

• Course Length: 5K (3.1 miles) - USATF Certified.
• Course Features: Course is flat and fast with many corners through the Woodmont area of Tamarac.
• Race Route: Race starts at 77th St. on Pine Island Road, east on 75th, north on 80th, loops back to Pine Island Road, then south to finish line at City Hall.
