🏃‍♂️ Thanksgiving Day 5K Overview

The Thanksgiving Day 5K takes place on a scenic course during the beginning of summer, here in the Pacific Northwest. It starts on the East Puyallup Foothills Trailhead, near the parking area, and goes through the cool paved foothills trail 1.7 miles and returns to the start point.

• Route Details: 1.7 miles each way with a return to the start point.
• Exciting Crossings: One road crossing and one trail rail crossing.
• Motivational Music: Pre/post-race music to keep participants motivated.
• Non-Competitive Event: This is not a competitive race and may not be officially timed.

🎉 Event Details and Schedule

• Race Day: June 15, 2025 Packet Pick up. 9:00-9:45 AM
• Race Instructions: Remarks and Instructions at 9:45 AM
• Start Time: Race Begins at 10:00 AM (Order of Line up: Runners first, Bikers, Walkers)
• Course Info: Proceed out 1.7 miles to turn around point then return on the same route back to start.

🚗 Parking and Amenities

• Parking Options: Available in the lot by start, at VanLierop Parking, and next to the trail across from Farm 12.
• Weather Preparedness: Dress for the day's weather: if hot, use sunscreen and shades, if rainy, bring a raincoat or poncho.
• Required Items: Bring waivers and ID for participation.
• Restroom Access: There is a single restroom at the trailhead: Safeway is less than 1/2 mile away for additional facilities.

• Distance: This is a 5K, which is 3.2 miles total (1.6 miles out and 1.6 miles back to the start).
• Community Focus: All proceeds from ticket sales will promote Men's Health Awareness.
• Family Friendly: The goal is to get families out for some fun/exercise.
