The Adel Sweet Corn 5K run/walk is hosted the second Saturday in August and takes place on the scenic brick streets in Adel along the parade route in front of hundreds of spectators. Join us for this challenging 5K around beautiful Adel.
🏅 Awards and Recognition
Award Ceremony at 8:30AM at Start/Finish line.
- Medals: awarded for the top 3 finishes in both men's and women's categories.
- Age Category Recognition: The top 2 men's and top 2 women's in age categories also receive medals.
🗓️ Age Categories
- 14 and under: Compete for medals along with older peers.
- 15-19: Encourage young athletes to participate.
- 20-29: A great opportunity for young adults.
- 30-39: Join fellow runners in this competitive age group.
- 40-49: Celebrate fitness and fun in midlife.
- 50-59: For the seasoned runners competing.
- 60 +: Encouraging older generations to join the run.
