🎉 Race Description

Let's kick off the holiday season with our friends in the town of Howey-in-the-Hills as we run or walk the Reindeer Dash 5K on beautiful Lakeshore Blvd. The route takes runners on paved roads with a short run through Sarah Maude Mason Preserve for a little off road fun. 🎽 Participant Amenities

• All Participants: All participants will receive a chip timed bib, a race shirt, a finisher's medal and a post race snack and beverage.
• Registration Requirement: All runners and walkers on the course MUST BE REGISTERED. Anyone running without a bib is subjecting themselves to a misdemeanor.
• Pacing Policy: If you want to pace a child, spouse, or friend, you MUST register as well. BANDIT AND PACING RULES
• Donations: Participant donations along with part of the proceeds from the race will go to the Town of Howey-in-the-Hills to help local non profit organizations like the local food pantry.

ℹ️ Entry Benefits

All registered participants receive a time chipped race bib, jingle bells for their shoes, a candy cane, custom high quality race shirt (register early to guarantee your size), finish line medal, post race hot cocoa if it’s cold to warm you up, and a free draft beer or soft drink ticket from our finish line sponsor JB Boondocks!

📍 Packet Pick-Up

• Date and Location: Packet Pick-up will be at Dash Sports (741 W Montrose Street, Clermont, FL 34711) from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Friday December 12th & 7:00 AM - 8:15 AM race morning.
• Registration Fee: Registration during packet pickup day & race day will be $45.
• Registration Method: You must register on your own device: we will not have paper registration.

📦 Virtual Packets

Packets will automatically be shipped within two weeks after the race and will either have a paper bib or digital one via email. We cannot ship outside the US. Feel free to post a picture of yourself completing the race and tag us @flodashevents #flodashrunner #virtualrace.

⏰ Race Start

The race will start at 8:30 AM. Participants will be asked to line up practicing social distancing based on pace. Times will be based on chip, not gun time.

🏆 Awards

The amazing awards provided by Live Trends Design Group will be announced around 9:30 AM. Categories are top 3 Male and Female overall, First Male and Female Masters, and top 3 Male and Female in 5 year age groups, starting with 9 and under up to 75 and over.

👨‍👩‍👦 Team/Family Discount

Bring the whole gang and take advantage of our family pricing when 4 or more members register under the same Team/Family name. Teams of 4 or more will receive $5 off each participant.

🚫 Stroller and Dog Restrictions

For safety reasons, NO pets of any kind are allowed on the race course during the event. Service dogs will be allowed, and we ask that you please contact the race director ahead of time to be allowed on course. Bicycles, skateboards, or any other non-authorized motorized carts or vehicles are not allowed on the race course during the event.
