Welcome to the AdventHealth Reindeer Dash 5K presented by LiveTrends Design Group — a festive, high-energy race that brings the heart of the running community to the streets of Howey-in-the-Hills. This beloved hometown event is more than just a race: it’s a celebration of movement, community, and giving back. Each year, runners and walkers of all ages come together to kick off the holiday season while supporting the town that graciously hosts us.

• Location: 510 S Palm Avenue, Howey-in-the-Hills, FL

• Grand Finale: The Reindeer Dash is a meaningful way to close out the year — surrounded by cheering spectators and festive spirit.

Participation Details

• Registration: All runners and walkers on the course MUST BE REGISTERED. If you want to pace someone, you MUST register as well.
• Race Packet: Registered participants will receive a chip-timed bib, a race shirt, a finisher's medal, and a post-race snack.
• Donation: Part of the proceeds will help local non-profit organizations like the local food pantry.

What Do You Get with Your Entry?

All registered participants receive a time chipped race bib, jingle bells for their shoes, a candy cane, custom high-quality Santa Hoodie Shirt (register early to guarantee your size), a finish line medal, post-race hot cocoa, and a free draft beer or soft drink ticket from our finish line sponsor JB Boondocks!

Packet Pick-up

• Date & Time: Packet Pick-up will be at Dash Sports (741 W Montrose Street, Clermont, FL) from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM on December 11th & 7:00 AM - 8:15 AM race morning.
• Registration Fee: Registration during packet pickup and race day will be $55.
• Device Registration: You must register on your own device: we will not have paper registration.

Race Start

• Start Time: 8:30 AM
• Participant Line-Up: Participants will be asked to line up practicing social distancing based on pace.
• Timing: Times will be based on chip, not gun time.

Awards

The amazing awards provided by Live Trends Design Group will be announced around 9:30 AM. Categories are top 3 Male and Female overall, First Male and Female Masters, First Male and Female Grand Masters, and top 3 Male and Female in 5-year age groups, starting with 9 and under up to 75 and over.
