🎉 Breaking News

• USATF-CT Series Race: We’ve just been designated as a USATF-CT Xctry series race!
• State Teams: Thanks to the committee for this honor. We look forward to seeing our state teams compete.
• Open to All: But remember - this event is always open to all abilities!

🥧 Post-Thanksgiving Run

• 3+ Mile Course: Work off your high caloric Thanksgiving overindulgence with a great 3+ mile (5K) run on the trails.
• Scenic Route: The route features grass and campus around the Trumbull High-Agricultural Center.
• Nature Challenges: No traffic, gentle hills, and maybe some mud and slush if Mother Nature cooperates.
• Unique Experience: Believe it or not, this event was once voted "One of the most unique races in CT" by some very interesting people!

👕 Race Amenities

• Long-Sleeved Shirts: Participants receive great long-sleeved shirts.
• Post-Race Treats: Enjoy post-race food and fluids.
• Crazy Prizes: Look forward to some crazy prizes and leftovers for awards from at least 15 other races.
• Swag: Expect some cow-related swag (though sadly, no cow keychains this year).

👶 Kids Cow Patty Fun Run

• Free Event: The run is free for kids aged 9 and under.
• Participation: All abilities are welcome to participate!
• Guidance: Parents can accompany their children to avoid drama.

🏅 Awards

• Overall Awards: Overall Male and Female winners are separated from age group winners.
• Age Group Awards: Awards for 1st and 2nd place only in various age categories.
• Fun Prizes: Fun and crazy prizes, as the race director clears out his basement!

💰 Registration Fees

• Ages 18 & Under: $25 from 10/17-11/30.
• Ages 19 & Over: $25 till 10/31, $30 from 11/1 - 11/16, $33 from 11/17 - 11/23, and $35 from 11/24 - 11/29.
• Online Only: All registration is online only, including race day.

🏠 Race Day Schedule

• Bib Pickup: 7:45 am for bibs, shirts, etc.
• Kids Runs: 8:45 am directed by Donna Cramond, distance about .1-.2mi.
• Main Run: 9:00 am start of the Cow Chip Cross Country Run.
• Awards Ceremony: 9:50 am for awards.

Our event will dedicate a portion of proceeds to Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer in memory of Mia McCaffrey, with a focus on funding research specific to Neuroblastoma. Thank you for supporting this cause!
