Strawberry Sprint 5K and Fun Run

Join us on April 4, 2026 for the Thorsby Strawberry Sprint 5K, part of the town’s beloved annual Strawberry Fest celebration! This fast, out-and-back course begins at the intersection of Franklin Street and Alabama Ave, near Thorsby High School and follows County Road 37 South, passing open fields, charming historic homes, and even a historic cemetery. The route features a gentle incline on the return, making it a perfect course for personal bests.

🎪 Event Details

• Check-In: The Check-In tent will be set up at Wood Park.
• Start Time: The morning kicks off with the 5K at 8:00 a.m., open to runners, walkers, and even leashed furry friends.
• Fun Run: Kids can join the Fun Run inside Richard Wood Park, creating a family-friendly race day for all ages.
• Location: The race is located at 9017 Franklin St, Thorsby, AL.

🏅 Awards & Prizes

• Timing: The 5K race will be chip timed.
• T-shirts: 5K Runners will receive a t-shirt.
• Awards: Awards will be presented following the Kids Fun Run to the top three male and female finishers in the 5K.
• Finisher Medals: Kids Fun Runners will receive a finisher medal.

• Registration Deadline: The last day to register to race is Saturday, March 28.
• T-shirt Registration Deadline: The last day to register for a guaranteed t-shirt is Wednesday, March 4.
