TJHS Color Fun Run/Walk

Event Overview

• Event Type: The Thomas Jefferson High School Color Fun Run/Walk is an untimed event.
• Purpose: It raises money for Traumatic Brain Injury Awareness and supports various groups in need within the school, such as the Thanksgiving Food Drive and the Holiday Gift Fund.
• Course: Participants will run and/or walk the course on the grounds of Thomas Jefferson High School.

Color Stations & Safety

• Color Stations: Throughout the course, there will be FIVE color stations where a cornstarch-based substance will be thrown on participants.
• Color Blast: All participants will take part in a Color Blast prior to the start of the race.
• Allergies: Please be mindful of any allergies prior to registering.

Participant Information

• Registration Deadline: Each participant registered by Monday, October 12, 2026, will receive a white t-shirt and TWO individual color packets.
• Registration Fee: Registration will be $15 if you choose "No T-Shirt."
• Late Registration: Registration after October 12th is permitted but there is no guarantee that a shirt will be available. Participants will still receive two individual color packets.

Course Details

• Terrain: The course will include some rough terrain as the cross country course will be used for the more adventurous 5K participants. It will be properly labeled this year.

Donation Information

• Optional Donations: If you choose to make a donation, all donations will go towards the Holiday Gift Funds.
• Requirement: Donations are optional and not required to register.

Event Schedule

• Check-in for Run/Walk: 9:30 am
• Start of Run/Walk: After 10:30 am

Packet Pickup

• Run Packet Pickup: A run packet pickup may be held on Thursday, November 5th. Information will be sent out by email if this occurs.
