11th Annual Viking Turkey Trot 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

Get ready to celebrate 11 years of the Viking Turkey Trot! Join us on Saturday, November 8th for this spirited event benefiting St. Anne-Pacelli's Cross Country and Soccer teams. For over a decade, the Viking Turkey Trot has become a beloved, fall event, drawing runners, walkers, students, families, and alumni together for a morning of fun!

🏃‍♂️ Race Options

• 1 Mile Fun Run: 4-18 years old (participants 3 and under are free)
• 1 Mile Fun Run: 19+ years old
• 5K: All Ages
• T-Shirt Deadline: Registering by October 25th ensures your event participant t-shirt!

Both the 5K course weaves through campus and along our perimeter, while our Fun Run offers a shorter, family-friendly option, perfect for little trotters or those looking to enjoy a beautiful, brisk morning and a leisurely pace. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, or just here for the fun, this event always kicks off the holiday season with festive fun!

🏅 Race Results and Awards

Prizes for this year's race include a medal and turkey to the overall top male and female, as well as top participant (male and female) in all age groups - 12 & under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-59, and 50 & over age groups. The 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each age group (male and female) will receive a medal.

🚗 Day-of-the-Race Information

• Parking: Please park in the school's/church's Kay Circle parking lot.
• Packet Pick-Up: Day-of Packet Pick-Up, and day of Race Registration, will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.
• Refreshments: Jambalaya, fruit, treats, and drinks will be available for all participants as well concluding their race.
• Course Guidance: The course is marked at intervals with signs and guidance along the roadways.
