Race Description

• Route: Fast, flat, 5K Route along Main Street in China Grove, NC (same course as the China Grove 5K Main Street Challenge)!
• Costumes: Halloween costumes are welcome to add to the fun!
• Discounts: Race bibs may be used for sponsor or merchant discounts after the race.
• Proceeds: Event proceeds will fund China Grove Rotary's youth initiatives in southern Rowan County including scholarships, Interact clubs, school projects and teacher grants.

Race Details

• Start: Runners set off from the starting line on Main Street at Ross St.
• Finish: Runners welcomed home on Main Street in front of Town Hall.
• Fun Run: for all ages will take place following the 5K.
• Awards: Will take place in front of Town Hall immediately following the Fun Run.

Registration Fees

• 5K Run/Walk: $30 ($20 under age 18)
• Half-Mile Fun Run: $30 ($20 under age 18) or ($10 – no t-shirt)
• Virtual 5K Run/Walk: Donation of $35 w T-shirt & Mailing
• Packet Pickup: 320 North Main St, China Grove, NC, Friday, October 17 – 5 – 7 pm and Saturday, October 18 – 1 – 3:50 pm.

Awards Ceremony

• Location: In front of Town Hall immediately following the Fun Run.
• Categories: Top 3 Overall.
• Age Groups: Top 3 in Each Age Group Male & Female in 5K.
• Fun Run: Top 3 – 8 or Under in Fun Run. Walkers are eligible for age group awards!

Special Opportunity

• Double Race: This day (10-18-2025) is a rare Rowan County opportunity - race two fast 5Ks in 1 Day!
• Morning Race: Join the Race to the River 5K in Spencer in the morning.
• Recognition: Top 5 Male and top 5 Female runners with the overall FASTEST combined times for both races will receive special recognition and an award following the Fall Crawl 5K!

Additional Information

• T-shirts: Guaranteed to all runners and walkers in 5K & Fun Run except $10 Fun Run option. Late registration T-shirt pick-up time TBD.
• Virtual Participants: May pick up t-shirt or receive t-shirt via mail after the completion of the race.
• Refreshments: Available on the lawn at 320 North Main Street after the race.
