Whether you're dashing like Dasher or just strolling like Santa on his cookie break, get ready for some festive fun at our "Jolliest Bunch of Runners This Side of the Brazos" Christmas 5K/1K Run/Walk!
Expect to see a mix of speedsters, joyful joggers, and merry walkers all coming together to enjoy a scenic route along the Brazos River. With hot cocoa stations, holiday tunes, and even a surprise visit from the big man in red himself, it's bound to be the most wonderful run/walk of the year! So, lace up those sneakers, don your jolliest attire for contest - best elf, reindeer, and Santa costume.
Throw on your Santa hat and join us for a day of festive fitness and fun. Remember, the best way to spread Christmas cheer is running and walking—whether it's far or near!
Race Week Schedule
Friday, Dec 12th
- Early Packet Pick Up: 4 o’clock to 7:00 PM
- Location: Waco Running Company, 700 Franklin Ave
Saturday, Dec 13th
- Packet Pick Up: 6:30 am - 8:30 am at Indian Spring Park, 100 S University Parks
- One Mile Fun Run/Walk: 8:30 a.m.
- 5K Timed Run/Walk: 9:00 a.m. USATF certified course: Link.
- Awards Ceremony: 10:00 am
Additional Information
- 1K Fun Run: This is just that... FUN!
- 5K Timing: Professionally timed event with awards for overall male and female, masters male and female, as well as age group awards!
- Best Griswold Costume Award: Dress your best and show us your holiday style!
- Shirt Registration: Shirts are ordered on Dec 5th: you must be registered by then to be guaranteed your shirt and size.
Race Day Registration will be available but does come with an "inconvenience fee"...save $5 by registering prior to race day and use it for some cranberry sauce!
Finisher medals take 6 weeks to make so they will be distributed to the first 500 registrants: if those people do not show up on race day, they will be distributed based on your date of registration.
