To support families with children receiving care in the Medical Center for a serious illness or injury. We provide a home away from home for these families.

Join Us
Support Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Houston! Founded in 1978, the mission of RMHC Greater Houston is to offer a home away from home providing care, compassion, and hope to families with seriously ill children being treated in Texas Medical Center member institutions. The House provides a place to find rest and respite, activities, meals, and snacks for our families, at no cost.

- Holcombe House: 70 Bedrooms
- Texas Children's Hospital: 19 Bedrooms
- Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital: 20 Bedrooms
- MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital: 2 Bedrooms
In addition to our Houses, RMHC Greater Houston also has a CareMobile that goes to local communities to provide immunizations and well checks for school-aged children.

Event Details
5K and KIDS 1 Miler - RUN & WALK | DECEMBER 6, 2025 | SAM HOUSTON PARK
- Certification: USATF-certified 5K run/walk/roll
- Participation: Competitive runners, fun runners and walkers, families with children, and dogs are welcome!
- Registration Perks: All registered participants will receive a finisher medal, event t-shirt, and other great SWAG generously donated by our sponsors.
- Proceeds: 100% of the proceeds benefit the children and families of RMHC Greater Houston.
- Matching Donation: Up to $50,000 will be generously matched, dollar for dollar, by the Trafigura Foundation!
