2026 Maricopa Memorial Day 5K

Event Overview

Join us Memorial Day weekend for the Annual Maricopa Memorial Day 5k sponsored by ACP Painting! Run or walk our spectator-friendly course at the beautiful Copper Sky Recreation Center in Maricopa, AZ.

Race Details

• Date: 2027-05-29
• Location: Copper Sky Regional Park, Maricopa, AZ
• Timing: This is a chip-timed event.
• Participants: All participants will receive custom finishers' medals and an event shirt.

Award Ceremony

An award ceremony will follow the event for:

• Overall Winners: 1st-3rd Overall Male/Female Winners
• Age Groups: Male/Female age group winners
• Team Awards: 1st place to Male, Female and Co-Ed Teams

Start/Finish Location

The event Start/Finish will be at the large Ramada next to the Copper Sky Lake (just east of the recreation building).

Event Schedule

• 5:30 am: Registration/Bib pick-up begins
• 6:15 am: Colors presentation
• 6:30 am: Race Starts!
• 7:15 am: Awards
• 8:00 am: End of Event

Swag

• Bib: with timing chip
• Event Shirt: Guarantee if registered by 5/26/27
• Finisher Medal:
• Snacks/Drinks: after the event

Top awards will be given in the following categories:

• Top 3 Male/Female - Overall winners
• Top 3 Youth Male/Female 17 and under
• Top 3 Male/Female 18 to 29
• Top 3 Male/Female 30 to 39
• Top 3 Male/Female 40 to 49
• Top 3 Male/Female 50/59
• Top 3 Male/Female 60 and Over
