Book It! Friends of the Waterford Library 5K Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us Saturday, May 2, 2026, for the Book It! 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk in support of the Waterford Township Public Library. This family friendly event welcomes kids and pets.

⏰ Race Schedule

• 5K Run: Starts at 10:00 AM
• 5K Walk: Starts at 10:15 AM
• 1 Mile Fun Run: Starts at 10:15 AM

🎽 Entry Fee Includes

• Commemorative T-shirt: Entry fee includes a t-shirt: register by April 24th to guarantee one.
• Finisher Medal: Each participant will receive a finisher medal.
• Sponsor Gifts: Participants have a chance to win gifts from our sponsors.
• Timing and Results: The 5K will feature timing and results!

📍 Packet Pick-Up

Packet pick-up will start at 9:00 AM on race morning. Check in will be at The Warming House, 5050 Civic Center Drive, Waterford, MI 48329. On the Civic Center Campus by the pond.

🏷️ Silent Auction

Event also includes an online Silent Auction of items donated by sponsors. Bidding is open to the public regardless of signup for the 5k event. All items will be on display at the Waterford Township Public Library at the following dates/times:

• Wednesday, April ?
• Thursday, April ?
• Friday, May 1: All items will be available for viewing.
• Saturday, May 2: Last day for viewing before the auction ends.
