🏃‍♂️ Pine Island Calusa Trail 5K Run and Walk - 2026

2026 Entry: 2026 Entry will open shortly - we are waiting for final approval from the race site committee.

🏞️ Event Information

• Family Friendly: This is a family and pet-friendly walk/run.
• Trail Run: We are happy to be able to partner with Alden Pines Country Club this year and will be offering you a more traditional trail run.
• Course Condition: Alden Pines Golf Course has been closed since Hurricane Ian and the cart path is less than 50% intact. There are bumps and ruts as well as some inclines! It's a fun trail course for your adventurous side!
• Participant Medals: We are also providing participant medals! More to come on those!

🏅 Race Details

• T-shirt guarantee: Race tech shirts are guaranteed to participants that register by January 1, 2026.
• Refreshments: Post-race refreshments will be available.
• Awards: Post race awards will begin at approx. 9:15 am.
• Beneficiary: Event proceeds will benefit the Kiwanis Club of Greater Pine Island and the children's programs at the Calusa Heritage Trail.

🚗 Parking and Staging

Parking and race staging are at Alden Pines Clubhouse, 14261 Clubhouse Drive, Bokeelia, FL 33922.

📅 Packet Pick Up and Registration

• Date: Thursday, Jan 29 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Century 21 on Pine Island, 10191 Stringfellow Rd, St James City, FL 33956.
• Race Day: Race day pick up begins at 7 am at the event.
• Registration: Race day registration is available by the participant's cellular device only and may be dependent upon signal strength in the area.
• Connectivity: Please consider registering prior to coming to the event to avoid potential connectivity issues.

🔄 Refund Policy

This event is a fundraiser for the Kiwanis Club of Pine Island. If the event is cancelled due to weather and is unable to be rescheduled, or if you are unable to attend following registration, all registration fees will be considered a donation to the Club.
