Races Offered

• Kids Dash: 50-meter untimed dash (Ages 10 & under). Includes a race tee, medal, and exclusive Kids Dash recognition pin.
• 1 Mile Fun Run: For all ages and experience levels (untimed)
• 5K (3.11 miles): Chip timed
• Quarter Marathon: (6.55 miles) – Chip timed
• Half Marathon (13.1 miles): Chip timed

Awards by Age Group

• 1st Overall Male & Female – Bigfoot Trophy
• 1st Masters (40+) Male & Female – Recognition Pin

Top 3 in each age group receive Gold, Silver, and Bronze pins. Age Groups include: 10 & Under | 11–14 | 15–19 | 20–24 | 25–29 | 30–34 | 35–39 | 40–44 | 45–49 | 50–54 | 55–59 | 60–64 | 65–69 | 70+

Event Schedule

• 5:30 AM – 6:45 AM: Packet Pickup – Grab your bib, shirt, and any pre-ordered swag.
• 6:50 AM: Costume Contest – Strut your stuff as your favorite hero or villain before the race begins!
• 6:55 AM: Kids Dash – Our little Yeti heroes take center stage!
• 7:00 AM: National Anthem & Race Start – Time to hit the course and decide your destiny—Hero or Villain!

Post-Race Festivities

Live results and awards ceremony, DJ playing all the hits, Bigfoot Trophy & age group awards presentation, snacks and refreshments at the Race Rally Tent, finish line photos, music, and celebration.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Then Run (5K Distance Only) – Be part of the action and run the 5K! Includes a chip-timed bib, t-shirt, and finisher medal.

Volunteer Roles & Ratings

• Water Station: Keep cups filled and cheer on runners!
• Course Monitors: Located at key safety points (e.g., crosswalks). Direct runners and cheer them on!
• Finish Line Helper: Assist with medals, refreshments, and cheering finishers.
• Turtle / Sweeper: Support the final participant and alert volunteers when the last runner passes.
• Packet Pickup / Results: Distribute bibs, shirts, and help celebrate finishers.
• Floater: Assist wherever needed—medals, snacks, crowd support, etc.
• Lead Bike: Guide the first runners on the correct course using a bike or scooter.
• Bigfoot Mascot: Wear the Bigfoot suit and cheer, give high-fives, and take photos!

Course & Experience

All races are held on scenic local park and greenbelt trails—mostly paved with some crushed granite and dirt sections. Aid stations will be available throughout the course to keep you hydrated and supported.

Important Notes

• Shirt Guarantee: 10 days before race day. After that, limited availability.
• Weather: Races proceed rain or shine, hot or cold.
• Packet Pickup: Opens 1.5 hours before race start. Any additional pickups announced by email 1 week prior to the race.
• Course Surface: Expect mixed surfaces (pavement, crushed granite, dirt paths).
• Public Space Notice: Events take place in public parks, greenbelts, and roads.
