Event Description

Join us on Labor Day for the 52nd annual Blueberry Stomp, a nonprofit race supporting our local ASK Ministries, run in conjunction with the Marshall County Blueberry Festival. The Blueberry Festival regularly draws a crowd of 200,000+ over the weekend so there are PLENTY of activities leading up to the Monday race.

Start Times & Start Line

• Start Line: All athletes line up on Michigan Street near the entrance of the KFC parking lot.
• 1-Mile Fun Run: Starts at 8:00am. All participants must finish before the 8:30am start.
• 5K & 15K Starts: A cannon fire announces the start at 8:30am.
• Pets: For the safety of all participants, pets are not allowed.

Race Details

1-Mile Fun Run

• Start Time: 8:00am
• Course: Starts at the south edge of Centennial Park on Michigan Street.
• Duration: Runners and walkers have 30 minutes to complete 1 mile.
• Finish Notification: If not finished by 8:30am, you will be asked to step off the course.

5K Race

• Start Time: 8:30am
• Course: Beautiful out-and-back tree-lined course through residential Plymouth.
• Spectators: Approximately 50,000 spectators along the course!

15K Race

• Start Time: 8:30am
• Course: Runs through downtown Plymouth and into the beautiful countryside.
• Challenge: Features rolling hills, making it a challenge for many runners.
• Water Stops: Available at several locations throughout the course.

Finish Line & Timing

• Finish Line Closure: 10:50am
• Post-Timing Safety: Participants must move to sidewalks and follow traffic laws after closure.
• Aid Stations: Not available after 11:00am.
• Prizes & Food: Race numbers must be visible to receive prizes and food.

Registration Information

• Online Registration: Through RunSignup, the only way to register.
• Registration Deadline: Shirt sizes guaranteed for registrations completed by 7/31.
• Costs: 5K & 15K prices vary from $30-$55 depending on registration date.
• Fun Run: $10 on or before 9/6, $15 on race day.

Packet Pick-Up

• Location: Road Runner Pavilion in the SW corner of Centennial Park.
• Times: Sunday, Sept 6th, from 1-4pm and on race day from 7:00-8:15am.
• Parking: Available in several lots around the park for a small fee.
• Avoiding Lines: Arrive early or pick up your packet on Sunday to avoid long waits.

Awards

• Cash Prizes: Top 4 male & female finishers in both 5K & 15K.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 finishers in various age groups.
• Age Groups: Ranging from 8 & under to 75+
• Elite Athletes: Complimentary race registration for qualifying athletes.
