BLUEBERRY STOMP
Event Overview
Join us on Labor Day for the 52nd annual Blueberry Stomp, a nonprofit race supporting our local ASK Ministries, run in conjunction with the Marshall County Blueberry Festival. The Blueberry Festival regularly draws a crowd of 200,000+ over the weekend so there are PLENTY of activities leading up to the Monday race.
Start Times & Start Line
- Location: All athletes line up on Michigan Street near the entrance of the KFC parking lot.
- 1-Mile Fun Run: Starts at 8:00am: all participants must finish before 8:30am.
- 5K & 15K Races: Start at 8:30am: announced by a cannon fire.
- Strollers: Allowed: please secure all children and items.
Race Distances
1-Mile Fun Run
This non-competitive run/walk starts at the south edge of Centennial Park on Michigan Street. All runners and walkers have 30 minutes to complete 1 mile (out and back course). At 8:30am the 5K & 15K must start. If you are not finished, you will be asked to step off the course.
5K Race
Starting at the south edge of Centennial Park on Michigan Street, this is a beautiful out-and-back tree-lined course through residential Plymouth. Nearly the entire course follows the Blueberry Parade route, giving you the opportunity to participate in front of approximately 50,000 spectators!
15K Race
This course also starts at the south edge of Centennial Park on Michigan Street, running through downtown Plymouth and out into the beautiful countryside. The 15K course becomes a challenge with its rolling hills and is seen by approximately 50,000 spectators.
Finish Line Information
The finish line closes at 10:50am, allowing tear down before the course reopens to traffic at 11:00 am. All athletes who have not finished must move to the sidewalks & follow normal traffic laws.
Registration
Online registration through RunSignup is the ONLY way to register for the event.
- Registration Deadlines: Entries by 7/31 are guaranteed shirt sizes.
- 5K Pricing: $30 until 7/31: $40 from 8/1 to 9/6: $45 on race day.
- 15K Pricing: $40 until 7/31: $50 from 8/1 to 9/6: $55 on race day.
- 1-Mile Fun Run: $10 until 9/6: $15 on race day.
Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up is available at the Road Runner Pavilion in the SW corner of Centennial Park on Sunday, Sept 6th, from 1-4pm and on race day from 7:00-8:15am.

Cash prizes to the top 4 male & female finishers in both the 5K & 15K races:
- 1st: $200
- 2nd: $125
- 3rd: $75
- 4th: $30
Elite Athletes
Athletes that meet the time qualifications below are welcome to apply for Elite entry which includes complimentary race registration:
Women
- 5K: 18:20
- 10K: 38:00
- 15K: 1:00:00
- Half Marathon: 1:27:00
Men
- 5K: 15:45
- 10K: 32:45
- 15K: 51:30
- Half Marathon: 1:15:00
