Race Details
- Chip Timed: This race starts and finishes at the Pickens County Airport along the taxiways and runway!
- Catch-A-Cop Event: Open to kids ages 5th grade (10 years old) and under, participating in a chase to "catch a cop."
- Post-Race Ride: Kids will ride in police cars back to the race start area after the event.
- Proceeds: All funds go towards purchasing a wheelchair accessible swing for the community in Liberty, SC.
Event Schedule
- Catch-A-Cop Start: 9:00 AM
- 5K Start: 9:30 AM after the kids race and police car parade.
- Awards Ceremony: Around 10:30 AM after the last participant finishes.
- Awards Categories: 1st/2nd/3rd overall for M/F under 40 years, and 1st/2nd/3rd M/F overall for ages 40+ (Masters Male and Female).
Registration Information
- Registration Cost Includes: Race entry with timing, race t-shirt, and finishing medal.
- T-Shirt Cut-Off: April 9. No t-shirt for registrations after this date.
Packet Pickup
- Friday Pickup: April 17 from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM at The Scoop at the Airport.
- Morning Pickup: From 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM at the same location.
- Race Parking: At the Cornell Dubilier/Scoop at the Airport area on Technology Place: do not go to the main terminal.
- Post-Race Fun: The Scoop at the Airport will be open for ice cream and family fun after the events.
