The Brothers for Life 5k is set to take place on August 9, 2025, at 2616 Modaus Rd SW, Decatur, AL.

📍 New Location for 2024

• Change of Venue: Due to construction at Point Mallard, this year's race will be at Jack Allen Soccer Complex.

• Our Mission: Brothers for Life exists to support local firefighters, police officers, EMS professionals, and dispatchers.
• Join Us: Please join us as we support these brave men and women!
• Race Options: Please sign up for our 5k race, 5k ruck, or our 1 mile fun run.

🎒 Ruck Division Details

• Weights: Male weight is 30lbs and female is 20lbs.
• Weight Verification: You MUST weigh in your pack on the morning of the race by 0745 in order to be eligible to place in the rucking division.
• Assistance: Look for the GORUCK flag near the starting point and a team member will assist you.

🗓️ Important Dates

• Early Registration: Early registration ends July 28th.
• Shirt Giveaway: Everyone that registers early gets a shirt!
• Packet Pickup: Packet pickup will be Friday night at Cross Eyed Owl Brewery on Friday, August 9th from 5-7PM at 105 1st Ave NE, Decatur, AL 35601.
• Race Day Pickup: Packet pickup will be on race day, Saturday morning from 6:00AM-7:30AM at Jack Allen Soccer Complex.

The race will start right beside Jack Allen Soccer Complex at 8:00AM.
