Event Description

• First Marathon: Decatur's first ever marathon on a micro-marathon course.
• Support Local Team: All net proceeds go to the Decatur High School Track and Field team.
• Additional Events: A 10K and 5K event will also take place on the same day.
• Fast Course: All courses are flat, fast, and USATF certified.

Course Information

• Loop Course: The marathon features a loop course through Point Mallard Park.
• Time Limit: 6 hour time limit: cutoff at 3 hours or 11 AM for the halfway point.
• Course Maps: Maps and USATF Certification will be posted on the website shortly.
• Boston Qualifier: Athletes can qualify for Boston, Chicago, or New York Marathons.

Awards and Recognition

• Awards: Age group and overall awards available for marathon, 10K, and 5K.
• Finisher's Medal: All marathon finishers will receive a medal.
• Certification Standards: Course meets B.A.A. standards.
