Race Overview
The Elkmont Cross-Country and Track program is excited to announce the 2nd running of the Elkmont "Holiday Hustle 10k"! The race will help fund the Elkmont High School Cross-Country and Track program while helping us give back to the community.
Important Dates
- Registration Deadline: Sign up by October 15th to receive a race shirt with your registration!
- Group Registration: If you are a business, group, or school program that wishes to sign up more than 5 runners, please reach out to us!
Race Series
This is Part Two of the Elkmont race series.
- Part I: EAC Red Devil 5k (August)
- Part II: The Holiday Hustle 10k (November)
- Part III: Elkmont Half Marathon (April)
Dress Code
We want to encourage everyone to wear something for the season. Tacky or traditional, the choice is yours!
Charity Partnership
We are also very excited to announce that we will be partnering with the Make-A-Way & Make-A-Wish Foundation for the race!
- Toy Drive: We are doing a Toy Drive for Make-A-Way to help give back to the special needs community. Barely used or new toys will be greatly appreciated!
- Proceeds: A portion of the proceeds will go directly to Make-A-Wish!
Parking Information
Parking is free and will be available around downtown Elkmont and at Elkmont High School.
Course Details
The course is the Elkmont Rails-to-Trails.
- START: On Upper Fort Hampton at the intersection of High School Road and UFH.
- Distance: North on Veto for 3.1 miles.
- Route: West on the cut through at Mill Creek campground to the Richard Martin Trail.
- Return: South on the Richard Martin Trail for 3.1 miles.
- END: On the Trail at the stairs leading up to Warehouse Pizza.
Awards
Awards will start as soon as the race has ended.
- Certificates: The top 5 runners in each male and female age group will receive certificates.
- Medals: The top 3 overall male and female runners will receive medals.
