Girls Who Run DFW is scooping up the fun this spring with our Scoop Into Spring 5K/10K this April! 🍦 Whether you’re chasing a PR or just here for the vibes, this race is all about community, confidence, and celebrating women who run. Want even more fun? Join our Challenge Bundle sign up for each race and complete them, or grab the bundle and finish strong at our June finale to earn a challenge medal that completes your summertime ice cream sundae. Run, collect, celebrate because running is sweeter together. 💕

Age groups will be awarded 3 deep in the following divisions: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.

OVERALL AWARDS: OVERALL FEMALE, FEMALE MASTERS (40+) & FEMALE GRAND MASTERS (60+) 

AWARDS WILL BE DISTRIPUTED AT THE EVENT. WE WILL NOT SHIP AWARDS. PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK ON YOUR RESULTS PRIOR TO LEAVING THE EVENT.

National Anthem & Announcements: 7:50AM

10K Start: 8:00AM

5K Start: 8:10AM

Awards Ceremony: 9:15AM

Course Closes: 10:15AM

Want to be part of the action without lacing up your running shoes? We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this race extra SWEET. 

Volunteer Roles Needed:

*Early Packet Pick-Up: Help runners grab their race bibs, tees, and goodies before race day!
*Race Day Check-In: Be the friendly face that welcomes participants and gets them race-ready.
*Water Station Crew: Keep our heroes hydrated with cheers and chilled water!
*Pre & Post-Race Helpers: From setup to teardown and everything in between, we need your superpowers to keep things running smoothly.
