Running For Restoration 5k

Join us for our annual 5k on April 4th, 2026

 

Time: 5k kicks off at  9am

 

Location Address: Mcgalliard Falls Park, 1400 Falls Road NW Valdese, NC 28690

 

Purpose of event:   Advocacy event to raise awareness for the humane treatment of incarcerated people in North Carolina. 

 

Course description: Course starts with a slope and some large rock stairs, across a suspension bridge at .5 miles then follows the Valdese greenway on an easy gravel path, out and back.  

 

Pricing: $35 early bird till March 1 , $40 normal till April 3, and $45 day of race

 

Shirt Deadline: March 23rd. Sizes XS-XXXLarge

 

Packet pickup dates/time:  Packet Pick up Day of only starting at 7am till race begins at McGalliard Falls Park, 1400 Falls Road NW, Valdese, NC 28690

Age Group (male and female) 1st, 2nd, 3rd in age groups. 10 under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+
