EVENT DESCRIPTION

The Ryan Lambert Memorial is a charitable organization that has been formed with the intent of raising awareness and funds to support both Vietnam Veteran programs throughout Delaware and the American Foundation for Suicide Awareness (AFSP) in the name and memory of Ryan Andrew Lambert. The Ryan Lambert Memorial Committee, along with the Seashore Striders, look forward to hosting you at this very important fundraising event. Thank You!

RACE LOCATION

• Place: Bowers Beach, Delaware.
• Tagline: "The Way Life Used to Be"

RACE TIME

• Kids Dash: 100m Dash @ 8:45am
• 5K Start: 9:00am (NOTE NEW START TIME)

RACE REGISTRATION

• Fees: $30.00 Early-Registration through June 12th at midnight
• Race Day: $35.00 from 7:30am - 8:50am
• Kiddie Dash: No Charge for kids 8 & under

• Registration Methods: 3 Ways to Register for a Seashore Strider Event
• 1. Online: Register through RUNSIGNUP here at this site. "The easiest & most popular way to register for Seashore Strider events."
• 2. On-Site: Registration begins 1 hour before the event.
• 3. Mail-In: Download, complete, and mail the registration form to Seashore Striders, C/O Ryan Lambert 5k, 9 Gander Lane, Lewes, DE 19958. Please mail early to be guaranteed an event t-shirt/swag.

RACE COURSE

• Type: A Fast & Flat out & back 3.11 mile course on beautiful roads of Bowers Beach.

COURSE ETIQUETTE

ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO RUN ON THE COURSE THAT IS MARKED WITH ARROWS AND CONES. PLEASE STAY ON THE ROAD WHERE IT IS MARKED AND POLICE ARE STATIONED. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE RACE INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN A DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE EVENT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION IN THIS MATTER.

• Bikes: Not allowed on the course.
• Bandits: Non-registered runners are not allowed.
• Headphones: Discouraged for safety reasons.

RACE TIMING

• System: Chip time using the Chronotrack chip timing system.
• Bibs: All Race Bibs are to be worn on the front.

RACE AMENITIES

• Shirts: Short Sleeve 100% Pre-Shrunk Cotton Blend Race shirts guaranteed to all PRE-Registered participants by 6/1/25.
• Post-Race: Refreshments, Music.

AWARDS

• Categories: Overall Male & Female, Master Male & Female, top 3 finishers in 10-year age groups from 9 & U to 70 & O.
• Walk Awards: Top 3 Male & Female Overall 5k Walkers.

RACE PARKING

• Location: Parking will be at Clifton Cubbage Drive in Bowers Beach. Please follow volunteer directions.

REFUNDS/DEFERRAL

The Seashore Striders have a "No Refund" policy, however, we offer options such as transferring to a future event, donating your entry fee, or deferring to the following year. Thank You for your cooperation.
