Race Description

• Fun Concept: Join the Plant City Police Department in a fun 5k at the Plant City Police Headquarters, featuring scenarios where runners get a head start before local police officers chase them.
• Beneficiary: Proceeds benefit local law enforcement.
• Special Challenge: You'll even have a chance to outrun the Mayor to help raise some extra money.
• Hydration: Water will be available at 1.5 miles and at the finish line; we encourage you to please bring your own hydration for the course.

Course Details

• Loop Course: This course is a two-loop course; you must cross the start and finish line 3 times to be counted as a finisher.
• Finisher Medals: Awards for everyone who completes the race.
• Post-Race Treats: Enjoy post-race donuts because we’re running with the police.

Awards

• Overall Awards: Top 3 male and female awards, top 3 male and female masters awards, top 3 male and female law enforcement awards.
• Age Group Awards: 1st-3rd Male & Female in age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, followed by 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
