- Scenic Start: The race begins in a beautiful valley with picturesque mountains and fields.
- Cave Feature: Runners will enter the crown jewel of caves in the Southeast at the 1.9 mile mark.
- Unique Course: The cave section is a 0.6-mile out and back route accommodating two-way traffic.
- Atmosphere: Runners will receive a glow stick at the turnaround point with decorative lighting throughout.

Packet Pickup
- Date and Time: Friday, September 18th from 2-7 PM and Saturday, September 19th from 10:30 AM-4:30 PM.
- Location: RunningLane, 2407 Memorial Pkwy SW, Huntsville, AL 35801.
- On Race Day: Packet pickup available on Sunday from 7:00 AM-10:00 AM.
- Arrival Time: Please arrive 1 hour before your assigned wave start.
Race Waves Information
- Multiple Heats: Due to interest and cave size, there will be multiple heats or "waves" of 200 runners each.
- Start Times: Waves commence every 30 minutes starting at 9:00 AM.
- Wave Schedule:
- 9:00 AM: 1st Wave
- 9:30 AM: 2nd Wave
- 10:00 AM: 3rd Wave
- 10:30 AM: 4th Wave
- 11:00 AM: 5th Wave
- Wave Assignment: You must stick to your wave assignment: changes are not allowed.
