The Firecracker 5K entry fee increases April 30th — don’t wait to lock in your spot!

This year’s race is better than ever:

• USATF-certified course: 5K course
• NEW certified race: 1-Mile race – point-to-point, no turns, and flat as a pancake ⚡
• Post-race amenities: Food & childcare provided by Morningside Baptist Church 🙌:
• Celebration: Join us for Huntsville’s go-to Independence Day Run!

Event Timing

• Race Start Time: 7:00 a.m.
• Location: Morningside Baptist Church
• Temperature: Enjoy a morning run to beat the heat!
• Food Location: Post-race food in the fellowship hall, as in the past

Child Care

• Provider: Morningside Baptist Church
• Time: 6:45 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

Packet Pick-up

• Location: Fleet Feet Huntsville
• Date: Friday, July 3rd
• Time: 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Race Day Pick-up: Morningside Church from 6:00 a.m. - 6:45 a.m.

Race Course

The race will start at Morningside Church, Aldridge Creek Greenway, and run out and back on the Aldridge Creek Greenway. There will be one aid station on the course at the turnaround.

Post Race Food

• Type: Home baked food from the church.
• Finisher Medals: Yes, there will be finisher medals!
• Registration Benefit: Technical Tanks for early registrations!

Awards

Age group awards will be provided by Fleet Feet & Swift Recovery.
