Paper Chase 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Paper Chase 5K raises funds to support teachers and children with free supplies through Free 2 Teach. Free 2 Teach invests in public school teachers so that they can equip and inspire every child in their classroom. Come out and join us on February 28, 2026, in downtown Huntsville.

🏆 School Competition

• Winning School: The school with the most runners (family, supporters, staff, friends, etc.) will win $1,500 for their school library and/or technology needs!

🗺️ Course Details

• Course Description: The course winds through beautiful downtown Huntsville and is a partial loop certified with USATF (code: AL18003JE).
• Participation: Runners of all levels are invited as are walkers. This is a great way to run with your family and friends in a casual and fun environment.
• Stroller Policy: Due to insurance restrictions, strollers are not permitted on the course.

• T-Shirt Guarantee: Please register by January 31, 2026, to guarantee a T-shirt!
• Event Format: This race will be an in-person event, rain or shine. The race fee will go toward your registration, and all funds are non-refundable. Thank you!
• Registration Deadline: Online registration closes at 5pm on February 25, 2026!
