🎉 Event Overview
The Paper Chase 5K raises funds to support teachers and children with free supplies through Free 2 Teach. Free 2 Teach invests in public school teachers so that they can equip and inspire every child in their classroom. Come out and join us on February 28, 2026 in downtown Huntsville.
🏆 School Challenge
- Prize: $1,500 for the winning school.
- Eligible Participants: Family, supporters, staff, friends, etc.
- Support: Funds go toward school library and/or technology needs.
🎟️ Raffle Information
- Celebration: Launch of Free 2 Play.
- Winners: Four lucky runners will win a family 4 pack of tickets.
- Events: Tickets to Savannah Bananas, Huntsville Havoc, Trash Pandas, or HCFC.
🏃♂️ Course Details
- Route: Winds through beautiful downtown Huntsville.
- Certification: Partial loop certified with USATF (code: AL18003JE).
- Participants: Runners of all levels and walkers are invited.
- Stroller Policy: Due to insurance restrictions, strollers are not permitted on the course.
📅 Registration Details
- Deadline: Please register by January 31, 2026 to guarantee a t-shirt!
- Event Type: This race will be an in-person event, rain or shine.
- Registration Fees: All funds are non-refundable.
- Raffle Terms: The only way to enter the raffle is to enter the race.
