Join us on Friday, May 22, at 6 PM for the ASICS Blue Jean Mile at Providence College's Ray Treacy Track - a one-of-a-kind event where speed meets style for a greater purpose.
History and Purpose
- Record Holder: In 2020, ASICS elite athlete Johnny Gregorek laced up in his favorite pair of blue jeans and set the World Record for the fastest mile ever run in denim.
- Mental Health Awareness: This effort was made to raise awareness for mental health.
- Inclusivity: ASICS is inviting runners everywhere to take part in their largest virtual Blue Jean Mile while also joining in-person events like this one in Providence.

- Brand Ethos: ASICS is built on the ethos of “A Sound Mind in a Sound Body.”
- Partnership: The Gansett Run Club is proud to partner with the National Alliance on Mental Illness - Rhode Island Chapter (NAMI-RI) for this event.
