On October 24, 2026, Mansfield will turn purple for a powerful purpose.

Join us for the inaugural Purple Dress Run, a unique and empowering event dedicated to raising awareness and funds to fight against domestic violence. This event is a bold statement of solidarity and a celebration of strength and survival.

Purpose of the Event

• Awareness: Purple is the color of domestic violence awareness.
• Support: By running or walking in purple, you are visibly showing your support for survivors.
• Advocacy: Your participation sends a message that domestic violence will not be tolerated.
• Community: Join others in advocating for change in our community.

• Time: 7:30am (10K & Half Marathon), 7:45am (5K & 1 Mile)
• Location: James McKnight Park
• Dress Code: Wear something purple! A purple dress, t-shirt, or costume. Get creative and show your spirit!

Community Impact

The funds raised from this event will directly benefit Chozn 2 Outreach, providing household items and clothing for victims and their families in our community.
