Event Overview
We welcome and encourage you to come out and join us for our 7th Annual Healthy Start Mind & Body 5K Run/Walk, to JUMP START the Fall Season off to a Healthy Start and help a worthy cause! The purpose of this event is to promote and raise awareness of Alzheimer’s Disease while being mindful of how keeping our mind & body active leads to a healthy life with positive outcomes.

- Donation Opportunity: Consider supporting this cause by additionally donating any amount that will help the Alzheimer’s Association in their endeavor to providing Alzheimer’s care, programming, support, and research.

- Location: 9751 Ox Road, Lorton, VA at the beautiful Occoquan Regional Park.
- Course: This paved course winds its way along the delightful Occoquan River, providing splendid, scenic views throughout the park’s natural terrain.
Event Activities
- Entertainment: We will have a DJ on site.
- Award Ceremony: There will be an award ceremony after the completion of the race.
- Catering: Enjoy a catered meal at the Occoquan Regional Park Pavilion.
