Race Overview
The second annual "JEREMIAH HOUSE OF HOPE 5K" is a charity run to raise awareness and funding for the Sandhills Jeremiah Project. The Jeremiah 2911 House is a faith-based ministry that offers compassion, hope, and help for single, pregnant women and single mothers with children facing homelessness, providing them with opportunities to have healthy, productive lives. Course Information
The events will run along the Aberdeen Lake Trail in Aberdeen, NC. There is a slight route change from last year’s route due to flood damage to the bridge caused by last summer’s heavy rain. The route is a scenic well-maintained and well-marked trail that starts in the main park area and goes out to the Northwestern trail limit and back twice.

Awards
There will be prizes for the top male and female in each event category.
Family Activities
Aberdeen Park offers plenty of scenic hiking trails, playgrounds, and fishing. The nearby towns of Aberdeen, Southern Pines, and Pinehurst offer plenty of shopping, restaurants, and coffee shops.
Weather Conditions
May weather in Moore County is typically warm to hot with pleasant morning temperatures. The temperatures during the race period should range from low 70s to low 80s and reaching low 90s by mid-day. We may catch the typical summer shower.
Participant Information
Participants will receive a race t-shirt. T-shirts cannot be guaranteed for registrations after May 20, 2025.
