• Date: November 7, 2026
• Location: Old Hickory Golf Course, Woodbridge, VA
• Distance: 3.1 miles
• Purpose: Raise money to support homeless veterans in D.C.

🌨️ Need for Support

D.C. has over 500 homeless veterans living on the streets or temporary housing facilities. During the winter months, these veterans face extreme cold out in the elements and have nowhere to turn for support and a hot meal.

🛠️ Unique Experience

The Feed a Veteran 5K is not just a race: it's an opportunity to make a difference. After the race, all participants and volunteers will have the opportunity to assemble sandwiches and soup that will be delivered to these homeless veterans the afternoon after the race! Additionally, everyone will be able to pack winter survival kits (hygiene supplies, gloves, socks, blankets, etc.) that USASOA delivers to these homeless veterans in the month of December.

⏰ Race Details

• Start Time: 8:00 am
• Professional Timing: Blue Cheetah Sports Timing, LLC
• Packet Pickup: Available on November 6 from 3-6 pm and race day from 7-7:45 am
• Packet Contents: Commemorative bib, custom race shirt, custom finisher medal

💰 Registration Fees

5K: $35 through October 24th, $40 Oct 25th - Nov 6th, $45 Nov 7th

5K (18 & Under): $15

1 Mile Fun Run: $25 through October 24th, $30 Oct 25th - Nov 6th, $35 Nov 7th

1 Mile (18 & Under) Fun Run: $15. Fun Run is untimed.

🏆 Awards

Age group winners will receive a special medal with their age group finishing place. Awards for:

• Top 3 Men and Women Overall
• Top Boy and Girl under 10
• Top Male and Female 20-29
• Top Male and Female 60+

📸 Free Finish Line Photos

We will be posting the photos on our Run Sign-up site within 6 hours after the race. Ensure your number is facing front and visible as you finish!
