Event Overview

• Race Name: Beaufort Turkey Trot
• Event Series: Part of the Beaufort Triple Crown, including Run Forrest Run 5K and Swing Bridge Run 5K.
• Eligibility: Complete all three races for special BTC series awards for best combined time.
• Registration Bundle: Available until October 1st, 2026.

Race Details

• When: Starting at 8am on Thursday, November 26, 2026.
• Location: Best Western Sea Island Inn, 1015 Bay Street, Beaufort, SC.

Packet Pick Up

• Where: Race T-shirts and bibs will be available for pick up at Grounded Running, 2139 Boundary Street, Ste 108, Beaufort, SC 29902 on Wednesday, November 25th from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
• Size Guarantee: T-shirts and sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after 11/7/2026.

Race Day Registration/Packet Pick Up

• Registration: Available for $50.00 from 7:00 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. for those who have not pre-registered.
• Packet Pick Up: Pre-registered runners can pick up their packets at this time if they have not already done so.
• Closing Time: Registration/Packet Pick Up will close promptly at 7:45 am to ensure the race begins on-time.

Age Categories

Age groups are: under 12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

Medals & Trophies

• Awards: Medals for the top three male and female in each age division.
• Overall Finishers: Trophies for the top three male and female finishers overall.
• Presentation: Awards for in-person participants only: presentations will start promptly at 8:45 am.

Pets & Strollers

• Policy: Event is dog and stroller friendly.
• Leashes: Flexi-type leashes will not be allowed: pets must be on a standard 4-6ft lead.

Parking

• Location: Closest GPS reference is downtown marina parking lot across from 1015 Bay St, Beaufort, SC 29902.
• Planning: Plan your parking in advance due to expected traffic with the bridge blocked off for the race.
• Resource: Check Park Beaufort to plan your parking.

Important Note

Please note that registration for this event and shipping fees are NOT REFUNDABLE. If we are unable to host a live race, we will transfer to a virtual format.
