Swing Bridge Run

The Swing Bridge Run will be on Saturday, November 7th, 2026. Join Holy Trinity Classical Christian School in cooperation with the City of Beaufort for a 5K Run and All Ages Bridge Walk through historic downtown Beaufort and across the Woods bridge on a USATF certified 5k course.

Race Series Information

• Series Name: The Swing Bridge Run is the 2nd race of the Beaufort Triple Crown Race Series.
• Previous Race: Run Forrest Run (Oct. 3)
• Next Race: Turkey Trot (Nov. 26)
• Bundle Registration: Register for the 2026 Beaufort Triple Crown Bundle to support three local nonprofits.

Walker Information

• Support: Don't like to run? Support our event by registering as a walker.
• Timing: Registered Walkers will not be timed.
• T-shirt: Registered Walkers will receive a t-shirt with registration.
• Pickup: T-shirts must be picked up at packet pickup.

Registration Deadline

Please note that all online registration closes on Wednesday, November 4th at midnight so that we can print race bids etc.

Schedule of Events

Fri, Nov. 6th

• Packet Pick-Up: 10 AM - 5 PM at Grounded Running.
• Health Unit: 11am until 1pm Beaufort Memorial Hospital will have their Mobile Wellness Unit.
• Note: If you do not pick up your packet until race day, please be aware of the packet pickup location.

Sat. Nov. 7th

• Race Day Packet Pick-Up: 7:00-7:45 AM at the Start/Finish Line of Race (Bay Street between the Downtown Marina and Best Western).
• Registration: Race day registration and packet pick-up will be available.
• Prayer Gathering: Join us at 7:15 am under the pavilion at the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park.
• First Aid: Thank you to Beaufort Memorial Hospital for providing a First Aid tent at the race.

Race Start Times

8:00 AM: Sharp Race Start for runners
8:20 AM: All Ages Bridge walk starts, walkers fall in behind runners.
8:45 AM: Award Ceremony

T-Shirts and Merchandise

• Early Registration: To ensure the t-shirt size you desire, please register early.
• Purchasing Deadline: Swing Bridge Run Hoodies are available for purchase until October 17th.
• Pickup: All shirts and hoodies must be picked up at packet pickup or on race day.

Additional Info

• Dog Friendly: The event is dog friendly and stroller friendly - please fall in the back of the line behind the runners.
• No Bicycles: Please refrain from bringing bicycles.
• Course Details: 5K Course start/finish line at Freedom Mall.

Race Day Awards

AWARDS: Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female runners, as well as the top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups: 8–12, 13–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+. The race is open for runners and walkers of all abilities. The awards ceremony will begin immediately following the race.

Beaufort Triple Crown Race Series (BTC) runners will receive a medal charm for completing each of the three races - the Run Forrest Run, Turkey Trot, and Swing Bridge Run.
