Event Overview

Come join Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity's Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk on Thanksgiving morning. This family-friendly 5K event is located on the scenic campus of FSW College, Punta Gorda Campus. This event has been a beloved tradition for friends, family and fitness enthusiasts for over 28 years - and the only race where you can chase a Bicycle Riding Turkey! Join us as we wobble before we gobble!

Proceeds and donations for this event go to help bring affordable housing solutions and the dream of homeownership to families in Charlotte County. We couldn't do it without you!

Important Information

• Youth Registration: Ages 3 & Under - Free (If race shirt & finisher medal are wanted, please sign up under Fun Walk and pay the youth fee of $30. Kids 3 and under DO NOT RECEIVE A BIB)
• Ages 4-14 years: Only $30 (Price will be adjusted at checkout)
• Finisher Medal: All participants will receive a finisher medal and race shirt (if registered by the deadline). Race Shirt Deadline is Sunday, October 25th, 2026.
• Age Group Awards: Age Group Awards are awarded to the top three male and female participants in each age group.

• October 25th, 11:59 PM: Shirt Deadline / No Race Shirt Offered After This Date; Price Increases
• October 26th - November 25th, 12:00 PM: Registration price $45
• November 25th at NOON (12:00 PM): Online Registration Closes

November 26th: Packet Pick-up & Day of Registration from 6:15 AM - 7:15 AM - FSW College Charlotte Campus, Building O Cafeteria, 26300 Airport Rd, Punta Gorda, FL 33950

Please note that FSW College has a no pet, no smoking policy. We appreciate your cooperation in following their guidelines.

RACE REGISTRATION IS NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-DEFERRABLE

Per USATF rules, gun time is used to determine prize money winners and time bonus recipients. Tag time (chip time) will be used to determine all age-group.
