Halloween 5K and Monster Mile

Event Overview

• Date: October 24, 2026
• Location: 1600 Mine Road, Stafford, VA
• Tradition: It's a Stafford Halloween tradition!
• Costumes: Costumes are encouraged and prizes are given to the best costumes.

Race Details

• Registration: All participants will receive a long-sleeve t-shirt and custom finisher's medal as long as you register before the t-shirt deadline on October 10th.
• Race Series: The Halloween 5K is the 4th race in the 2026 Stafford Race Series.
• Distance: Includes both a 5K and a Monster Mile.

• Benefiting: This race benefits Project Lifesaver with the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
• Program Purpose: Project Lifesaver is the premier search and rescue program for “at risk” individuals prone to wandering.
• Mission: The primary mission is to provide timely response to save lives and reduce potential injury for adults and children with cognitive conditions.

Additional Information

• Monster Mile Parents: The path along Mine Road parallels the race course. Please run on the path unless your child is 4 & under.
• Stroller Policy: Strollers are permitted in the 5K: please start towards the back.
• Dog Policy: Dogs are NOT permitted.
• Refund Policy: No race transfers or refunds: please send a friend or family member to pick up your race packet if you cannot attend.
