Event Type: 11th Annual Halloween 5K and Monster Mile
Race Highlights
Costumes: Costumes are encouraged and prizes are given to the best costumes.
T-Shirt and Medal: All participants will receive a long-sleeve t-shirt and custom finisher's medal if registered by the t-shirt deadline of October 10th.
Race Series: The Halloween 5K is the 4th race in the 2026 Stafford Race Series.
Beneficiary: Proceeds benefit Project Lifesaver with the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
About Project Lifesaver
Mission: Project Lifesaver is the premier search and rescue program designed for “at risk” individuals prone to wandering.
Response: The program aims to provide timely responses to save lives and reduce potential injury for those with cognitive conditions.
International Operation: Managed by public safety agencies worldwide.
Target Group: Focused on adults and children at risk of wandering.
Participant Guidelines
Monster Mile Parents: The path along Mine Road parallels the race course. Please run on the path unless your child is 4 & under.
Strollers: Permitted in the 5K: stroller participants should start towards the back.
Dogs: Not permitted on the race course.
Registration: Online only: no paper registration available.
Important Policies
Transfers and Refunds: Race transfers and refunds are not allowed.
Packet Pickup: If you cannot attend, send a friend or family member to pick up your race packet.
Health Advisory: Please consider your health and travel requirements before registering.
