Like Running or Walking? Love Animals? This race is for YOU!!

Join us for the 8th Annual Chase Your Tail 5K Run/Walk to raise awareness for no-kill animal rescue! This event is for runners, walkers, and their dogs! The race will begin at Sebastian's Community Center and travel along the beautiful and panoramic Indian River. Participants will enjoy music and entertainment before and after the race, as well as an energy-infusing breakfast bar.

⚠️ Important Note

• No Shirts: There will be NO shirts available for NEW registrations on race day.
• Early Registration: If you want a shirt, please register early online!
• Packet Pickup: Pre-registered participants may pick up their shirt at packet pickup or on race day.

📅 Early Packet Pickup & Registration

12:00PM to 5:00PM - Friday, April 4th at H.A.L.O. Adoption Center at the Indian River Mall (6200 20th St Mall Entrance #4, Northeast side of Mall, Vero Beach, FL 32966)

⏰ Race Day Timetable

Saturday, April 5th at Sebastian Community Center:

• 6:30 AM: Late Registration & Packet Pickup Begins
• 7:15 AM: Late Registration & Packet Pickup Ends
• 7:30 AM: 5K Start!

• Top Overall: Male & Female Winner
• Top 3: In Each Age Group: 9 & Under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
• Top Dog: Fastest person running with a dog
• Fastest Pack: Team - must be co-ed and have 4 or more people

💰 Pricing

• Standard Fee: $35 until day of race, $40 race day
• Pack/Team Pricing: Sign up 4 or more people at the SAME time and receive $5 off per registration
