Race Description
- Course: Wilderness run from sea level @ Santa Cruz Island's Prisoners Cove, up through the Nature Conservancy Wilderness.
- Unique Experience: Described as the most unique wilderness run in the Pacific by past participants.
- Wildlife Sighting: Enjoy a thrilling private Island Packers boat ride with opportunities to see whales and dolphins.
- Challenge: Not suitable for trail walkers or first-time runners: this is a challenging extreme run in a wilderness setting.
Aid and After-Party
- Aid Stations: A cutoff-time is required to reach the second to last aid station for safety.
- After-Party: A complimentary lunch on the island will be provided post-race.
- Non-Profit Event: Entry fees support the Sheriff's Volunteer Search and Rescue Unit.
- Refund Policy: There are no refunds for registrations.
Course Changes and Cancellations
- Potential Changes: The race course may change on the day due to natural disasters or other unforeseen events.
- Cancellation Policy: If the race is canceled, entry fees will still support non-profit efforts.
- Waitlist: If registration is full, email to be placed on the waitlist for possible cancellations.
- No Backup Date: No planned backup date if the race is canceled for any reason.

Registration Information
- No Show-Up Registrations: Registration fills up online: waiting list available for cancellations.
- Sign-in Time: Arrive early to ensure registration and packet pickup.
- Departure Time: The boat departs at 6 am sharp: late arrivals cannot be accommodated.
- Personal Items: Bring a day pack with a change of clothes for the finish party.
