📜 History Hustle Overview

You would never guess that Albion was the Sunday night hang out for the infamous Purple Gang or the two sons that started Mother’s Day gave their first Mother’s Day speech in Goodrich Chapel but throughout the History Hustle, you’ll learn fun facts about Albion’s history and pass by locations where history happened.

🤝 Your Registration Impact

• Community Support: When you register for a Run Albion event, you are giving back to the Albion community.
• Sponsor Contributions: With the generous support of our sponsors, we are able to cover the cost of the entire series.
• Nonprofit Donations: Each registration fee is then donated to a local nonprofit organization that provides course volunteers.
• Previous Impact: In 2024, Run Albion donated $4,500 to five different nonprofits.

🏃‍♂️ 5K Event Details

• Event Type: The 5K is open to strollers and dogs on leashes.
• Student Discounts: Students 18 and under receive a $10 discount off the entry fee, applied automatically during checkout.
• Check-In Time: 5:00pm to 6:00 PM.
• Pre-registration: Be sure to pre-register for the race! Race day registration is limited and there is a price increase.

⏰ Race Schedule

• Start Time: All runners and walkers will start at 6:30pm.
• Timing: The Michigan Running Foundation will professionally time the race.
• Result Notifications: Your accurate chip time, current overall, and age group place will be texted to your phone and live on this site.
• Results Posting: Results will be posted on this race website and online at Runmichigan.com.

🏅 History Hustle Awards

All participants will receive a finisher medal. Awards will also be given to the top 5 men and top 5 women for in-person individual events. Points will be awarded to all History Hustle participants, which will be used to determine series awards.

🏆 Series Scoring Awards

When you participate in Run Albion events, you're eligible for series awards when you participate in two out of the three events. For detailed scoring information, visit runalbion.com.

💻 Virtual 5K Run/Walk

If you cannot make the Run Albion series events in person, but you would still like to participate and support the local non-profits that are beneficiaries of Run Albion's proceeds, you can complete the Virtual Run Albion series! A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose.

• What: This is a virtual race, so you choose your own course and time yourself.
• When: Complete your race any time between June 27th and June 29th. Medals will ship by July 18, 2025.
• Where: You choose the course and you time yourself.
• Cost: The price is $30 and includes a finisher medal and race swag.

Note: There will be no series awards for participants in virtual races. If you participate in 2 in-person events and 1 virtual event, you’ll be eligible for in-person series awards.
