Race Overview
We are thrilled to announce that the 2026 PJP Run for Parkinson's will be held on Saturday, October 10th, 2026, in beautiful Farragut, Tennessee! Join us early or stay afterward to explore our engaging Health Exhibition. Since its inception in 2015, PJ Parkinson's Support's run has continually evolved, starting with our inaugural walk-a-thon and introducing the 5K run in 2019.
Purpose
- Goal: Raising awareness and highlighting local efforts to support individuals living with Parkinson's disease and their families.
- Collaboration: Parkinson's Support Groups from across East Tennessee are uniting for this vital cause.
- Focus: Foster a deeper understanding of this progressive and degenerative nervous system disorder.
- Environment: Create a compassionate environment for patients and their families.
Registration Details
EARLY REGISTRATION - $30 5K Run | [$5 increase after 8/31/2026] includes:
- Swag Bag: Items donated by our sponsors.
- Runner Raffle: Ticket included.
- Race T-shirt: For participants (guaranteed with early registration).
- Prizes: Medals for winners of each group, Sponsored by Fleet Feet.
Additional Race Information
- Extra T-shirts: Available for pre-order with online registration for $15.
- Event Sales: A limited number of t-shirts will be available for purchase at the event for $20.
- Race Packet Pick-up: Avoid the lines on race day by picking up your race packet on 10/3 from 4:00-6:30 PM at Fleet Feet, 11619 Parkside Dr.
Awards
Awards & Prizes will be given to the winners of the following categories:
- Overall: Top 3 Male and Female Runners.
- Categories: Top 3 Male and Female Runners in each category.
- Recognition: Category winners will each receive a beautiful lanyard medal!
- Runner Categories: 5 - 9, 10 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70+.
