Event Overview

• Pride Month 2026: Let's Step Up, Stand tall and walk as one.
• Purpose: We are raising funds for Knit the Rainbow.
• Foundation Background: Knit the Rainbow (KtR) was founded in April, 2020 after the Founder, Austin Rivers, discovered the housing disparities facing LGBTQ+ youth in New York City.
• Mission: Austin learned there were a few nonprofits dedicated to providing housing and/or shelter for this community: however, he knew there was still more to be done: this is where KtR was born.

Virtual Participation

• Encouragement: We encourage those not able to attend in person to register and participate/donate virtually.
• Show Your Support: Post Pictures to the Chubb Village site to show your support.

Event Details

• Rain or Shine: Walk to be held in walking path of WHS and starts outside Building A for 2 laps anytime between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm.
• In Case of Rain: In the event of rain we will walk in the Parking Garage of Building A, C Level.
