About this race
Join the Sullivan County Humane Society for the 12th Annual Save A Stray 5K. This family-friendly event helps support animals in need throughout Sullivan County while providing a scenic and enjoyable race experience for runners and walkers of all abilities. Dogs are welcome to participate when leashed and positioned at the back of the starting field.
This 5K road race travels through the beautiful countryside of Newport, New Hampshire and includes a memorable run through the historic Corbin Covered Bridge. The course is suitable for both runners and walkers.
Race day registration for participants age 14 and older is $30.
Register early to receive a complimentary event T-shirt. Event organizers typically provide shirts to the first registered participants while supplies last. Additional shirts may be purchased during registration.

Bring your four-legged friend along for the fun! Dogs must remain leashed at all times. Dogs should start at the back of the participant field. Owners are responsible for their pets throughout the event.
Every registration helps support the mission of the Sullivan County Humane Society. Proceeds from the event assist with animal rescue efforts, shelter operations, medical care, adoptions, and other services that benefit animals throughout the region. Your participation directly helps local animals receive the care they need.
