🏅 Race Overview

• Format: Town and Gown Hybrid 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
• Course: The race will go through Uptown Normal and around campus.
• Water Stop: One water stop will be set on the course.
• Refreshments: Available afterward for all run/walk participants, courtesy of the Town of Normal.

• Office of Sustainability: Will be onsite with reusable water bottles.
• Zero Waste Crew: To make this a zero-waste event.
• Pet Policy: No pets are allowed.
• Stroller Policy: Strollers welcomed.

🏆 Awards and Prizes

• Categories: Prizes for overall male and female winners, wheelchair racers, and non-binary racer.
• Age Division Awards: Top three male and female finishers in each age group.
• Age Groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.

💰 Registration Information

• Cost: $20 for all ages and races.
• Scholarship Support: $5 of each registration supports the Marian H. Dean Scholarship.
• Online Registration: Available until 7:45 a.m. on race day.
• T-Shirt Guarantee: Register by midnight on September 16.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• When: Friday before the race at the Alumni Center or Saturday from 7–7:45 a.m.
• Location: Student Fitness Center (347 S. University).

🖥️ Virtual Participants

• Confirmation Email: Sent after registration with bib and instructions.
• Shirts: Will be mailed to virtual participants.
• Redbird Gear: Participants encouraged to wear Redbird gear on race day.
• Completion Time: Finish anytime before the date.
