Event Purpose
- Kickoff Event: The Wendell 5K & 10K proudly serves as the kickoff event for three weeks of activities leading up to NC Sports Con.
- Community Celebration: Join in a community-wide celebration of sports, fitness, health, and active living.
- Support Local Initiatives: Your participation helps launch exciting events that showcase the power of sport and wellness in Downtown Wendell.
- Make a Difference: Proceeds from the race benefit Wendell initiatives, supporting programs, events, and projects.
Registration Information
- Registration Fees: 5K: $35, 10K: $45
- Packet Pickup: Friday, April 2, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Pace Yourself Run Company – Wendell.
- Race Day Pickup: Saturday, April 3, 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM at the Start/Finish Area.
- Race Shirt: All participants who register by the shirt deadline will receive a race t-shirt.
Important Dates
- Shirt Deadline: The deadline to guarantee a race shirt is Wednesday, March 24.
- Course Map: Course maps coming soon.
Awards
- Overall Awards: Top 3 Overall Male Finishers, Top 3 Overall Female Finishers.
- Age Group Awards: Top Male and Female in various age groups.
- Age Categories: 15 & Under, 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70 & Over.
