The Wawasee Kiwanis is the host of the second leg of the "Triple Crown Triathlon Series" on July 25th, 2026.

Race Overview

• Location: 1013 N Long Dr, Syracuse, IN
• Type: Sprint Triathlon
• Age Requirement: Open to all ages and abilities

Race Distances

• Swim: 1/4-mile (400M)
• Bike: 13.5-mile (21.7 kilometers)
• Run: 3.1-mile (5k)
• Event Description: USAT sanctioned

Registration Details

• Limit: 300 entries
• Late Registration Fee: Additional $5 for individuals and $10 for teams after July 11th
• Parking: No parking at Syracuse Lakeside Park on race day

Event Logistics

• Pre-Race Clinic: July 25, 2026 at 6:00 PM at Syracuse Community Center
• Packet Pickup: July 25, 2026 from 5:30-7:30 PM and July 26, 2026 from 6:00-7:30 AM
• Photo ID: Required for packet pickup
• Timing Chip: Must return chip or pay $30 replacement fee

Race Course Information

• Swim: 1/4 mile (out and back)
• Bike: 13.5 miles, mostly flat with some rolling hills
• Run: 3.1 miles along the north shore of Syracuse Lake
• Transition Area: Closed at 7:50 AM on race day

Awards and Prizes

• Overall Winners: Awards for male and female
• Age Group Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in five-year age groups
• Swim Caps: Provided for all participants
• T-Shirts: For those who register before July 11th

Food and Refreshments

• Post-Race Nutrition: Water, Gatorade, and food will be provided for all athletes
• Results Posting: Available on-site and on www.wawaseekiwanis.org
• Insurance Coverage: Personal insurance is primary, USAT is secondary
• Refund Policy: No refunds under any circumstances
