Philander Smith University Homecoming 5K Walk/Run

Event Overview

The Philander Smith University Homecoming Inaugural 5K Run/Walk is an opportunity for participants to support the mission of the institution by bringing together students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members for a day of wellness, unity, and purpose.

Course Highlights

• Historical Sites: The course is designed to pass many of the city’s African American historical sites, including Arkansas Baptist College, Little Rock Central High School, and Dunbar Heritage Association Community.
• Date: This exciting event will take place on Saturday, November 7th.
• Time: The race begins at 8:00 a.m.
• Location: Hosted on the campus of Philander Smith University in Little Rock.

Beneficiary

All proceeds will go toward funding student scholarships and helping deserving students continue their educational journeys.

Participant Perks

• Day-of Participants: Will receive (1) Race Bib, (2) Race T-Shirt, (3) Finisher Medal w/Ribbon.
• Virtual Participants: Will receive the same perks as Day-of Participants.
• Sleep-In Participants: Will receive a Race T-Shirt.
