Join the Glenside 5K Run / 1-Mile Fun Walk and support the 4th of July celebration, proudly hosted by the Greater Glenside Patriotic Association (GGPA).

🎆 Race Background

Since 1904, Glenside has celebrated Independence Day with a full day of community fun—including our beloved parade and fireworks. But did you know it’s 100% funded by donations? By signing up, you’ll help keep this cherished tradition going strong. Please help the GGPA by asking 50 family members, friends, coworkers, or neighbors to donate $1 or more to support our cherished July 4th festivities. Proceeds benefit the fireworks display.

🏃‍♀️ Course Information

• Course: Scenic double-loop through Glenside with rolling hills—great for all levels
• Rain or Shine: No refunds

📝 Registration Details

• Cost: $30 through March 23 – includes race shirt
• Late Registration: $35 after March 23 (shirts available while supplies last)
• Team Discounts: Available for teams (min. 5 members) for discounted rates.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Early Pick-Up: In person on Friday, April 10th inside North Penn VFW Post 676 from 6-8 PM
• Race Day Pick-Up: In person on Saturday, April 11th inside North Penn VFW Post 676 from 6:30-7:30 AM

🏅 Awards & Timing

• Medals: To top 3 overall finishers (each gender)
• Age Group Categories: 7 & under, 8-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80+
• Timing: Professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Racing Co. – results at brynmawrracing.com immediately following the race.
