Keep the Parade Running 5K Run/1 Mile Fun Walk

🎉 Event Overview

• Date: April 12, 2025
• Location: 2519 Jenkintown Road, Glenside, PA
• Support: Proceeds support the 4th of July celebration in Glenside, hosted by the Greater Glenside Patriotic Association (GGPA).
• Tradition: Help keep the cherished parade and beautiful fireworks display a part of the Greater Glenside area for generations to come.

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Start/Finish: Both the run and walk will start and finish at the North Penn VFW Post 676 of Glenside.
• Course: The run takes two loops through the scenic streets of Glenside.
• Challenge: Rolling hills throughout the course provide a satisfying challenge for any level of runner.
• Exclusive Opportunity: This race is the exclusive way to qualify for 'Fastest on the Fourth' race on July 4!

🏆 Qualification for 'Fastest on the Fourth'

• Top Runners: The top 25 runners in each gender category qualify for the 'Fastest on the Fourth' sprint race, held on July 4, 2025.
• Parade Route: Qualified runners will run the parade route and kick off the Grand, Glorious, Patriotic July 4th parade.
• Community Support: Cheered on by fans along the race route.

📋 More Details

• Entry Fee: $30.00 if registered by March 23rd for a race shirt: $35.00 after that date.
• Awards: Medals for top 3 overall runners in each gender category and age group award medals for top runners.
• Results: Race will be professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Racing Company: results will be posted at www.brynmawrracing.com.
• Teams: Team registrations available with discounted rates until race day: teams must consist of at least 5 members.
