Join the Glenside 5K Run / 1-Mile Fun Walk and support the 4th of July celebration, proudly hosted by the Greater Glenside Patriotic Association (GGPA).

🇺🇸 About the Celebration

• Tradition: Since 1904, Glenside has celebrated Independence Day with a full day of community fun—including our beloved parade and fireworks.
• Funding: It’s 100% funded by donations.
• Support: Please help the GGPA by asking 50 family members, friends, coworkers, or neighbors to donate $1 or more to support our cherished July 4th festivities.
• Proceeds: Benefit the fireworks display.

🏁 Race Info

• Start/Finish: North Penn VFW Post 676, 2519 Jenkintown Rd
• Course: Scenic double-loop through Glenside with rolling hills—great for all levels.
• Weather Policy: Rain or Shine: No refunds.

📝 Registration

• Early Registration: $30 through March 23 – includes race shirt.
• Late Registration: $35 after March 23 (shirts available while supplies last).
• Team Discounts: Register as a team (min. 5 members) for discounted rates.
• Participants: Runners and walkers welcome—grab your friends, family, or coworkers and sign up together!

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Early Pick-Up: In person Friday, April 10th inside North Penn VFW Post 676 from 6-8 PM.
• Race Day Pick-Up: In person on Saturday, April 11th inside North Penn VFW Post 676 from 6:30-7:30 AM.

🏆 Awards & Timing

• Medals: To top 3 overall finishers (each gender).
• Age Group Winners: Each gender for 7 & under, 8-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+ categories.
• Timing: Professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Racing Co.
• Results: Available at brynmawrracing.com immediately following the race.
