About Gentle Hands and Feet
Gentle Hands And Feet was founded in 2019 with a vision to create a welcoming and inclusive community for individuals with cognitive, developmental and physical disabilities. We believe that all individuals deserve a place where they are valued, supported and empowered to thrive. Our goal is to create an indoor recreational space, designed to meet the specific needs of individuals with different abilities. A place to engage in recreational activities, express creativity and make meaningful connections.
Purpose of the 5K
- Celebrate Inclusion: The purpose of this 5k is to celebrate inclusion, to raise awareness for a future where everyone has the same opportunity to belong.
- Level the Playing Field: Let’s level the playing field, turning abilities into possibilities.
- Fundraising: All funds raised go to GHF to help move us one step closer to fulfilling this mission and vision.
