Join us for our 25th Anniversary 5K River Run for the Fund on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 9am. One of southeastern Connecticut's most scenic and meaningful 5K races! Whether you're chasing a personal best, enjoying a leisurely walk, or looking for a fun morning with family and friends, this event offers something for everyone.

Course Details

The professionally certified 5K course winds along the beautiful Ocean Beach shoreline, featuring:

• Flat pavement: Ideal for both competitive runners and casual participants.
• Breathtaking views: Experience the stunning scenery of Long Island Sound.

More than just a race, every registration, donation, and sponsorship helps support the James A. Greenleaf, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund, which provides:

• Full scholarships: Financial assistance to students attending Saint Bernard School.

Event Schedule

Registration opens at 7:30 a.m., with the race beginning promptly at 9:00 a.m. Come for the race, stay for the community, and help make a difference. One mile at a time!
